Given that the Squid Blade has decent single target DPS, second only to Speedshot (and Portable Portal 🙂 at high levels), players are tempted to go for a basic attack build. These players usually end up sneaking pass all the enemies and trying to solo the boss, leaving their team behind and then continue perpetually dying to the boss without doing any significant damage. This build is working towards utilizing the coaking ability for more than just sneaking into your death. The gameplay is simple, you go into cloaked state, deal your ambush attack damage and then spam your gadgeta. Continue do teal a bit of basic attack damage if there is a window of opportunity and then retreat, rinse and repeat. You'll end up doing considerable amounts of damage while also providing value to your team in case they all die, as you can just wait for them to respawn in the safety of your Squid Blade's warm...slimy embrace (cloaking). Another way to build is for more swarm heavy rifts, use Snow Globe, Multi Zapper and Pepper Spray. I personally tend to use Explosive Six-Pack to escape and cloak so that I can save my dashes in case I'm being pursued, this oftentimes helps enter the cloaked state in clutch moments, ultimately saving your life.
